Guillermo Velasco – Founder & Managing Director of JV Partners. Guillermo is a Spanish entrepreneur and strategic operator with over 15 years of international experience in project development, investment advisory, and cross-border business expansion across the Gulf, Latin America, and the Caribbean .
Since 2012, he has launched and scaled ventures in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, delivering over €100 million in contracts for European manufacturers and leading a Qatar-backed investment in a 1,200-room megaresort in Jamaica – an effort formally recognized by Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness for its strategic value to the country’s tourism sector. He has also received official invitations and recognition from high-level government leaders in Latin America – including the Vice President of Honduras and the Mayor of San José, Costa Rica – to explore national infrastructure and tourism investment partnerships.
